Started good, ended bad due to the COVID infection we got there.
Value for money. Friendly staff. Excellent food.
Both my adult daughter and I were infected by COVID when we left the premises.
Entering the water is awkward, as you have to stay within a narrow corridor due to the many rocks.

Lovely location, great food and facilities and friendly staff
Great food for an all inclusive - restaurant quality , great facilities and nice staff
App didn’t always work so it was difficult to know what activities were available sometimes - if they had a printed schedule somewhere would help when the app is a bit dodgy

Great experience, better if you are german
All the facilities were amazing and also they have a lot of activities to do, that you can follow by Robinsons App. In general, our vacations were great. All the meals were nice, plenty of options for all kinds of tastes. Many thanks for Amen (from the bar), the best person in staff.
Besides we think our vacations were great, there was some situations that make us feel sad/uncomfortable. Almost no one speaks english in the hotel (staff), also all the communications they made (night show, etc) were in german. I understand this is a german hotel chain, and the major part of the guests are germans as well, but you cannot expect having available rooms for selling in Booking.com and just arrive german guests. I mean, I think its a bit rude no one thinks about other guests nationalities that are staying in the resort. I saw some French couples as well, and we also tryied to talk in french with staff, but almost no one understand. I think this is one detail that can ruins all the touristic experience, because in my case, I wanted to participate in some activities in thd hotel, but I didn't feel comfortable to do so, as no one from animation staff communicated with us as we were not Germans.

What was the highlight of ROBINSON DJERBA BAHIYA
a good family holiday if you have children and you are German, we were neither so it got a bit dull
Restaurant staff were very kind
Room was clean
Not a good choice for a beach holiday as the rocks make it impossible to enjoy the sea
You don't feel included in the activities if you are not a German speaker as everything is only explained in German
Impossible to find sunbeds in the pool area after 8.30 am (the good spots are taken by 7.30 and the people don't even show up until much later)
